Inter-League Cup Semi-Final to Take Place in April
Jersey Football Association is delighted to announce that the Jersey Football Combination’s 2019/20 Inter-League Cup semi-final is to be played at the end of April.
The Inter-League Cup is a knockout competition open for representative teams of leagues from Step 7 of the National League System, and other leagues as decided by The FA, and strictly for amateur players who have never been under a written professional contract.
The 2019/20 competition was brought to a postponement, following the COVID-19 outbreak.
Following discussions between The Football Association and Jersey FA, the semi-final, to be played against the Dorset Premier League, will be played on Tuesday 27 April 2021, kicking-off at 7.45pm.
Martin Cassidy’s men will travel to Bridport Football Club’s St. Mary’s Field, knowing that the winner of the semi-final encounter will take on the West Cheshire League at the National Football Centre at St. George’s Park on Sunday 9 May (2.00pm kick-off).
Everybody at Jersey FA would like to wish Martin, his coaches, players and all involved in the Jersey Football Combination the best of luck in next month’s semi-final.
