Jersey FA Youth Council Launch Poster Competition

Design a great poster highlighting important safeguarding messages!

Jersey FA’s Youth Council is excited to launch a brand-new competition for children in the island to design a poster promoting awareness of safeguarding in youth football.

The competition is the first project launched by the Jersey FA Youth Council, which comprises of young volunteers across grassroots football in Jersey who provide a voice for young participants across the game.

Open to children in school Year 8 and under, the winners of the competition will receive a FREE place on Jersey FA’s Holiday Fun Week, worth £125.

Jersey FA’s Youth Council are looking for poster designs that are colourful, child-friendly and clearly display information included.

The Council is asking for entries to consider key safeguarding messages and present them in an exciting design, with a football theme.

Last, but not least, the Youth Council wants entries to be super creative.

Entries must be submitted via email to youthcouncil@jerseyfa.com or posted for Lucy Even’s attention to Jersey Football Association, Springfield Stadium, Janvrin Road, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 4LF, with an accompanying competition entry form, which can be downloaded here.

All entries must be submitted by 5pm on Monday 31 January 2022, with winners to be contacted by Jersey FA by Saturday 5 February 2022.

The winning poster design will then be printed and distributed for display within various football organisations in Jersey.
