Jersey FA Player Development Centre (Girls)

"Creating a culture both on and off the pitch"

The Jersey FA Player Development Centre Girls Programme (PDC) provides a player pathway for girls with identified talent and potential.

The 2023-24 programme will be a weekly programme consisting of training sessions and fixtures (on and off island) for three age groups – U12, U14 and U16s.

This programme supports players to develop individually and as a team. This is done by having a shared vison and pathway that is followed by all players and coaches. Within this we have some core values that you can read below.

Our aim of the programme is to work in partnership with local clubs to give girls with identified talent and potential the opportunity to develop their skill set further and progress within the female game. Our pathway aims to support players into local club women’s football (16+), the Jersey FA Senior Women’s Team and further if they choose to continue their progression off island.

Over recent seasons we have seen a number of our former players progress and excel within the local women’s league, gain opportunities to represent the Jersey FA Senior Women’s team in Muratti competitions and Island Games and continue their education off island as well as signing for clubs within the UK women’s football pyramid and college football in USA.
